Ducks Select Defenseman Jackson Lacombe in Second Round (39th Overall)

The Anaheim Ducks select defenseman Jackson Lacombe who is a 2-way defenseman based on statistics.

The Ducks selected defenseman Jackson Lacombe is from Shattuck St. Mary’s (High-MN). Lacombe (1/9/01), was named to the 2018-19 USHS All-USA Hockey First Team after earning 89 points (22g/67a) in 54 games with Shattuck St. Mary’s last season.

A native of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Lacombe represented the United States at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, appearing in five games.

Lacombe is committed to the University of Minnesota for the fall and says he models his game after defenseman Shea Theodore.
