Earlier today GM Bob Murray announced that Kase suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder in the victory over the Minnesota Wild, the game that the Ducks ended their 12 game losing streak. Kase will go in for surgery on January 30th and the 23 year old is expected to be out for 5-6 months which means we won’t see the energizer bunny until training camp in September.
Wish the best of luck to Kase and for a speedy recovery. The team will have to find a way to get back in a playoff spot without the Czech forward that is the energizer bunny as Carlyle and his teammates have called Kase.
