The Ducks today announced injury updates to goaltender Ryan Millerl. Miller suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament (MCL) in the third period of Sunday’s game against the New Jersey Devils. The 38-year-old netminder will be re-evaluated in two weeks, and it is estimated he will be out of the lineup for approximately six weeks.
Miller has a 4-2-1 record with a 2.72 goals-against average and .922 save percentage in 10 appearances this season, and is currently tied with John Vanbiesbrouck (374) for the all-time lead among U.S.-born goaltenders in wins.
