Korbinian Holzer is a player that keeps in shape and is sharp so when the Ducks need a defender he is all ready to go.
Appeared in only 16 games last season, in just 3 seasons with the Ducks he has played in 77 games for the Ducks.
With many new faces being added to the blueline for the Ducks Holzer is going to be fighting to keep a spot among the Ducks’ blueliners. Carlyle has vetrans and rookies to mix and match with on the blue line.
Holzer is the extra man that seems to be ready when the Ducks need a vetran blueliner in the roster.
