It’s Game Time: Ducks and Kings (preseason game #2)

So excited that it’s game day, for me there is nothing better than getting your favorite hockey team go at it and play the game all of us hockey fans enjoy. For me I love when opening games of hockey season begin because for me that means that hockey, the best sport in my eyes, starts to get more intense, more physical, and the stakes are raised up higher. It is the games each team plays during the season that really count because that is what determines what spot each team is positioned for the playoffs. That’s right the way the team is successful during the season is what will show where they will be placed and who they might play in the playoffs for the Stanley Cup. That’s right the opening game marks the beginning of the road-trip to the end where I hope the Anaheim Duck will meet the Stanley Cup. Before the Ducks can embark on that journey they are going to face the Los Angeles Kings for a second time in the pre-season. The Ducks are coming off a 3-game winning streak so…. LET’S GO DUCKS…. Let’s defeat the Kings tonight and head into our season opener off of a 4-game winning streak. That’s right Ducks let’s end pre-season with a bang and start our season off on the right foot by defeating those nasty Coyotes who are trying to eat the Ducks up for their own dinner. Like “who wants Duck for dinner?” says one coyote well I say heck no there is no way a coyote is going to be enjoying any part of this Duck for dinner tonight.

The Ducks are in need for speed and a goalie with laser eye duck-puck focus to shut down the Kings so the Ducks can soar. Quack Quack Quack Goooooooo Ducks!!!! So what does that remind you of…. Oh yeah the original “The Mighty Ducks” the movie that came out like a little more than 20 years. I’ve always thought that the Anaheim Ducks got their name basically out of the inspiration that came out from this movie. Plus, I’ve always wanted to see what the flying V would look like in a game but out of all the games I’ve been to over the years I’ve never experienced the Anaheim Ducks use the Flying V. It makes me wonder… Is the Flying V even in the Ducks playbook?

Who’s ready to storm into the castle and defeat the King of Los Angeles and all of his soldiers? What do you say Ducks? Should we wipe them clean and show those Kings what the Ducks are made of?

I say we storm into the Staples Center and show the King and his army of Kings what the ANAHEIM DUCKS ARE REALLY AND TRULY MADE OF.

I SAY LET THE KINGS HAVE A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY AND SHOW THEM WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE DEFEATED BY A DUCK. ALSO I HOPE I GET TO SEE SOME KING VS DUCK FIGHTING ACTION. ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE KINGS GOALIE BEING ROBBED WITH DUCK-PUCK HE LETS IN.
