Now most people first think of FOOTBALL when sports is mentioned in a conversation but for me the first thing that comes to my mind is HOCKEY. Hockey has come to my mind first ever since I was about 6 or 7 when my dad took me to my first ever NHL Anaheim Ducks game and since then I have been hooked on the game. To this day I am continuing to learn more about the amazing sport of HOCKEY. So when I was little I loved going to the Honda Center just to see George Perros get in fights and knock out the players of the opposing team. As I grew up my love for the sport evolved and then got into the actual game seeing the plays form, the face offs and the skills the players have to use to win the face-offs, and the many ways each player takes a shot and am in awe that the puck actually went in which leaves me thinking “How on Earth did that puck go in the net or How did the goalie not save the puck on that play?”. Now, at the age of 23, I am constantly looking at the NHL app (which you should download if you don’t already have it on your mobile devices) I’m looking at the roster of each player and how they have improved from the start of their career, watching game highlights, reading pre-game and post-game articles, and I can buy items from the Anaheim Ducks team store through the NHL app.
I come from a large family, 1 brother, 3 sisters, a sister-in-law and 2 brother-in-law to be exact. Since I can remember I have gone to ducks games with my dad to Honda Center and as a kid it was that special thing we did together and we still go together to this day and it is still so special to enjoy something a love that my dad and I share and it means the world to me that we just go watch the ANAHEIM DUCKS play hockey a sport that I fell in love with back when I was little.
I’m decided to start this blog purely through the love of the game and want to share my thought of the games and what type of upcoming hockey events.
I will be announcing a comment when I will be going to the game and get the scoop of what’s going on with the Ducks at the Honda Center. I went to the first pre-season home game and Ryan Getzlaf took my parking ticket and talked to him for like 2 minutes and then Jakob Silverberg took a picture with me after he scanned my ticket to get in the building, and I saw some of the other veteran players all around the Honda Center from 6pm-7pm. I saw Nick Richie and Ryan Getzlaf taking parking tickets. John Gibson, Ryan Miller, Jakob Silverberg, Francois Beauchumin, Patrick Eaves were scanning tickets to get into the Honda Center. Rickard Rakell, Hampus Lindholm, and Logan Shaw were serving food at the Wahoo’s food stand. Jared Boll and Brandon Montour were working at the 50/50 ticket area. Each of those players took the time to take picture with Ducks fans and signed tickets or other things when the Ducks fans asked the players to do so. IT WAS SO AWESOME. It was something that I will remember for a VERY long time. 😊
CAN’T WAIT FOR THE ANAHEIM DUCK MADDNESS TO BEGIN. LET THE GAMES BEGIN. LET’S GO DUCKS.
Feel free to write any comments below and Let’s Go Ducks
*Remember to download the NHL app to access everything Ducks. It’s a go to place to see stats on players, you can subscribe in order to listen to the game just like you would in the car, track the team points to see what place they stand in for the playoffs, and my favorites you can shop through the app and read articles of and watch interviews of the games and everything to do with the Anaheim Ducks.*
Most of you are probably on Social Media so here’s another source to get: Follow the Anaheim Ducks on Twitter and Instagram if you don’t already. It is a great way to stay in the loop of what is going to be happening with the Ducks and the Honda Center. Also you can follow each player on Twitter to see what they are up to besides playing the game and practicing for the games. Some of the things they post are awesome and see that even some of them have their own website links, I noticed that on Ryan Kesler’s Twitter page.
*Continue to check out the Ducks Team Store because there is always new items and merchandise that the Anaheim Ducks Team Store. So check it out before it’s gone.*
